Welcome to the Currumbin Valley State School P&C
At Currumbin Valley State School, our P&C is more than a committee — it's a community of families who care deeply about giving our children a learning experience shaped by connection, positivity and a genuine sense of belonging. Just like our little school in the Valley, the P&C is powered by people who value small class environments, strong relationships with the land, and the kind of unique learning experiences that only a place like CVSS can offer.
We are a group of parents and carers who believe that when we work together, we can lift our children higher. Whether it's supporting classroom programs, strengthening community partnerships, or creating opportunities for our students to grow, learn and shine, everything we do is guided by one simple purpose: to help every child feel known, supported and inspired.
The association meets and is maintained through a constitution accredited by Education Queensland. At Currumbin Valley, this group of people is not viewed merely as fundraisers but as partners in the formulation of the school's future. Some areas of involvement are:
Strategic guidance in school policy
Provision of funds for purchase of facilities and resources- fundraising and grant application.
Formation/control of sub-committees to provide greater input into school development, such as our Whole School Production Subcommittee.
Running the tuckshop and uniform shop.
You don't need special skills or lots of spare time to be part of the P&C — just a willingness to get involved, even in small ways. Every voice matters and every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference.
We'd love you to join us, connect with other families, and be part of the heart of our beautiful school community.
