Have you noticed changes in a student, colleague, parent or friend? Perhaps they seem distracted or like they’ve got a lot on their mind? 

If your gut instinct is telling you something’s wrong, start a conversation to see how they’re going. You could:
•   Find a time that is convenient for them to have a chat
•   Go for a coffee to get away from the office and other distractions
•   Mention specific things that concern you. For example ‘You seem less chatty than usual. How are you travelling?’
If they’re not ok, listen without judgement and encourage them to connect with appropriate support.
